Amy Flowers classes: cont....


Well.. I had to take this class and make a shrine box. These were done on Stampboard, which is a form of masonite coated with a white paint finish. It takes inks so nicely. If you work fast, you can blend, blend, blend.. getting an unlimited array of colors!! The box itself was painted with Pearl ex and a textile medium that was mixed and used with alcohol to get a unique appearance. I decided, since I was "the Queen Bee" in my family.. to put a Queen inside the box and the Bee on the outside!! I used Copper, gold, and red pearl ex for the box.
