BLOG CANDY IS HERE!!

This is my first offering of Blog Candy. When I first saw blog candy.. I didn't know what in the world it was, or why anyone would be giving away free stuff!! You may not think this is much of a stash... but let me tell you.... this little book.... took a few hours and ingenuity to make. It's not a normal little book with pages, it has lots of pages, plus pages with POCKETS!! All folding up toghether. I Cased the Owl on the front from Patty Murphy on one of our SU groups. It was so cute, I had to make it the center of attention. The rest of the goodies include 5 hand made cards, some Clear stamps for the Fall season, some pumpkin colored brads, buttons, and tabs, plus a set of little photo frames.
Now.. you must be wondering what do you have to do to win this blog candy?? Very simple.... Leave a comment on my blog answering the following question. "What is your favorite theme to stamp during this time of year, and why? ".... And be sure to tell all your friends about the blog candy. I will be offering more soon. I will pick a winner from the number of generated comments next weekend. So leave your comments and tell all your friends!!

Right now I am getting in the mood for fall, with all the beautiful leaves an Halloween coming. So I would say Halloween. I have started some projects for Halloween and will be sharing them on my blog thoughtout this month and next.

Halloween stuff is the best -- right up there with Christmas in my book! I love the colors and the ghoul-y images as well as pumpkins and candy.

Christmas! Only three months to go...cardmaking, gift making, tags stamped....awesome! Once you give a handstamped gift you can never go back to "buying" gifts....and feel good about it! I love the card boxes, candy bags, bath bags...and the excitement in giving to friends, family, teachers etc. I thoroughly love that my teen daughters also have become to feel it is "necessary" to make their friends and teacher gifts as well. I love the new Stampin' Up! Holiday paper as well as the Holiday Treasure DP with the Cardinal Christmas and Deer Friends stamps!! I can't wait to show these off and get everyone as excited as I am about using them!! Have a fabulous stampin' day!

I love fall colors so I try to incorporate them into whatever I do at this time of year; thank you notes, bday cards, sympathy...you name it. :)

This is the time of year that my two grandsons and I prepare the bag toppers for the goodie bags that are given out at their joint birthday party. As the party is always the 1st weekend in November, we sometimes use a Halloweenish theme or sometimes a fun birthday theme. The best part is the 3 of us working together to get this done.
After the party bags are complete, I begin on my Christmas cards.

Fabulous blog! I love the shoebox swap cards. They are terrific! Your blog candy is VERY generous, and I agree, giving away stuff is FUN!
Let's see....hhhmmm, my favorite thing to stamp this time of year, is probably Halloween card, altho, I don't have many Halloween stamps. Once school starts, I usually stamp something for my kid's teachers once a month. More than anything, I'm inspired by the gorgeous Fall colors!
Thanks for a chance to win!

I would love to win all those wonderful creations. My favorite time of year is definately fall so halloween and thanksgiving cards would fall into that category. Thanks so much for this opportunity.

I have two favorites. Fall, because of pumpkins, leaves and turkeys. And Winter because of Christmas, my favorite time of the year, the reds, snow, and making those beautiful Christmas cards, tags and scrapbook pages with my "happy times" photos. Thank you!

Christmas is my favorite as we usually get to spend more time with family and I enjoy making some homemade gifts - especially for the people I know that really appreciate them.

Love your shoe box swap cards! All are toooo cute & elegant! Fall is my favorite time of the year & I love creating with the beautiful fall colored cardstock & stamps we have! Christmas is also on my mind, so I do a little bit of Christmas stamping as well. It's fun to anticipate a holiday that is on the way.
